SPECIAL: Complimentary Blow-Out for First Time Color Clients

During my years in the hair industry my passion has been hair color. Training under “hair color guru”, Tom Dispenza for the past 7 years, has afforded me the opportunity to travel throughout the United States, teaching the Art of Hair Color to both English and Spanish speaking audiences. When I’m not traveling, I am behind the chair striving to fulfill my client’s needs. My goal is to make every single client that walks out of the salon feel like a million bucks! There is nothing more rewarding than seeing your client’s face light up with confidence and satisfaction. I’m enjoy staying on top of the latest hair trends and color techniques and processes. Furthering my education and sharing my knowledge to educate others is important to me and a very rewarding experience.

Born in Guatemala, raised in Westchester, New York, Yolanda attended beauty school in NY. Immediately after school, she joined Artista for Hair in Scarsdale, where she was trained under her two mentors, Rocky Plateroti and Franco Marino. This is where she developed her basic understanding of her life long passion for hairdressing. After several years of training in Scarsdale, Yolanda’s journey in her career took her, yet to another establishment, Numi Salon where color became her primary concentration. It was during this time that the salon won “The Hair Color Salon of the Year”, awarded by Westchester Magazine. This was also when she embarked on another project by becoming an educator for the hair color line “Chromastics”. Currently, Yolanda is a busy senior educator for Chromastics and also for La Brasiliana Keratin Treatment, on and off the stage. She is also certified in the fine art of hair extensions by SoCap, as well as eyelash extensions and tinting. As a Master Colorist and educator certainly knows no boundaries when it comes to furthering her education, no wonder she is a very busy individual. When she is not doing stage work, in-salon education, photo-shoots and/or training DVDs, she performs her magic on her wonderful clients.
